TEHRAN – A top Iranian lawmaker called on Saudi Arabia to take measure to rectify its religious police’s disrespectful behavior toward Iranian pilgrims visiting the holy sites in Mecca and Medina.

“We hope that this problem would be resolved before the concerned officials of the Islamic Republic take a decision,” Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Chairman Alaeddin Boroujerdi told reporters on Tuesday.
Boroujerdi said Saudi Arabia is officially tasked to show hospitality toward pilgrims.
